Requirements for ensuring accessibility in existing facilities versus work in new construction and alterations will be discussed. Design elements necessary for achieving accessibility in the public right-of-way will be reviewed. Best practices will be identified.

• Identify common problems found during onsite wastewater inspections
• Describe how septic tanks and drain fields are inspected
• Explain how wastewater is treated in a septic system
• Analyze finding to develop a pumping schedule
